Technical Features of ICOY solutions
ICOY® is the result of Itway’s research in data science and artificial intelligence. The intelligent agents are constantly being improved thanks to ICOY AI ™, which self-learns and minimises false alarms.
An Effective Response Thanks to Technological Advancements.
The Itway ICOY® R&D team had to identify and overcome the limitations of commonly used technologies in workplace safety for detecting the presence of individuals in a danger zone:
It can be applied in industrial environments with high metal presence (iron and its derivatives), where Radio Frequency (RF) motion detection is not feasible.
It can be applied in workspaces with heat sources (ovens, steam, compressors, heat sinks, etc.) where basic infrared or Bluetooth motion detection systems cannot be used.
It complies with privacy regulations, as it detects the presence of individuals without needing tags.
Applicability in environments where regular image analysis through cameras, if used, generates numerous false alarms.
The system activates upon detecting a person within the danger zone and deactivates after 0.5 seconds when no person is detected in the danger zone. Cameras capture 30 frames per second, and the system analyzes each frame in search of people and other moving objects, considering their speed, within the danger zone dynamically.
